Spring 2024 Afternoon Enrichment Registration is OPEN

Classes will run January 29th – April 24th. There will be no classes on March 11th -14th

At High Point Village, we strive to ensure that our Villagers, volunteers and staff remain safe, healthy and happy! For that reason, potential Villagers must meet the following requirements: Be at least 8 years old, have a primary diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability, be independent in mobility and the basic activities of daily living skills OR have an attendant who can assist them and be free of physically aggressive and threatening behaviors

All Villagers must complete the Spring 2024 AEC Enrollment Form by January 29th. All classes have a limited number of spots available on a first come, first served bases.

All new Villagers (anyone who has not attended a program at High Point Village before) must schedule a tour and complete the High Point Village new Villager registration form. To schedule a tour please email amartin@highpointvillage.org.

Spring 2024 Classes

Villagers will be expanding their knowledge of cooking through many different avenues like practicing kitchen safety and creating recipes, all while learning to make delicious food!

Monday 4:30pm – 5:30pm | $100

Villagers will be engaging in a dynamic fitness class that combines fun sports, engaging activities, and various games to get their body moving!

Monday 4:30pm – 5:30pm | $80

Villagers will discover their inner creativity and learn new skills in our exciting DIY class! Unleash your imagination and bring your fine motor skills and coordination to life!

Monday 4:30pm – 5:30pm | $95

Ring in the joy of music and learn the art of handbells in our captivating and melodic class. Join us for a harmonious and enriching experience!

Tuesday 4:30pm – 5:30pm |$20

Villagers will engage in therapeutic goals by using their voices to meet their full potential through socialization, playing games, preparing for the work environment, and communicating with their peers and individuals within the community. The students from the Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center will facilitate this group with supervision from Lisa Gore, Speech-Language Pathologist. Ages 12+

Tuesday 4:30pm – 5:30pm | $200

Join us for a weekly meetup that will include 30 minute devotionals and 30 minutes of worship. No fee, but registration is required!

Wednesday 4:30pm – 5:30pm | FREE

Calling all amazing ladies! Join our empowering class to unlock the secrets of confidence, friendship, and self-expression. Learn to support each other and embrace the power of sisterhood!

Wednesday 4:30pm –  5:30pm | $85


Join TTU Occupational Therapy students as they teach Villagers the fundamentals of building healthy habits and routines. Villagers will learn about meal preparation and planning, money management, stress management, home management, coping skills, hygiene, and leisure exploration!

Wednesday 4:30pm –  5:30pm | $90
